At Laguna Yachts, we value your privacy and are committed to ensuring transparency regarding our policies and procedures. Please read the following terms carefully before making a booking.

1. Compliance with Coast Guard Rules

  • The Dubai Coast Guard enforces strict regulations for all yacht charters. Any fines incurred due to non-compliance or disregard for these rules will be charged to guests as directed by the Captain and Crew.

2. Identification Requirements

  • Tourists: Must bring original passports.
  • Residents: Must present either a passport, Emirates ID, or Emirates Driving License.
  • Failure to comply may result in fines of up to AED 1,500 per person.

3. Alcohol and Behavior

  • Abuse of alcohol and reckless behavior will result in fines or immediate termination of the charter without refunds.

4. Safety Regulations:

  • Life jackets must be worn during weather warnings as instructed by the Coast Guard.
  • Swimming is not allowed after sunset or beyond three meters from the yacht.
  • Jumping off the yacht while it is underway or at anchor is strictly prohibited and may lead to termination of the charter.
  • Use of third-party jet skis or water toys is not allowed unless booked directly through Laguna Yachts to ensure insurance compliance.
  • Any loss of property should be informed immediately to the captain or crew.
  • According to the UAE law, swimming is forbidden after 7:00 PM.

5. Guest Numbers

  • Final guest numbers must be confirmed the evening before the charter and cannot exceed the agreed number on the day.

6. Catering Policy

  • Final catering details must be confirmed the evening prior to the charter. Amendments or cancellations are fully chargeable.
  • Guests may not bring their own catering except for dry items (e.g., pizzas, sandwiches, snacks). Guests are required to provide disposable plates and cutlery for any items they bring.

7. Children Policy

  • Children under 10 years must wear life jackets while on deck or in the water, as per Coast Guard regulations.
  • Anyone under 21 years must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • Infants below one year of age are permitted onboard.

8. Attire

  • All guests are required to remove footwear before boarding. Comfortable clothing is recommended.

9. Damage Waiver and Liabilities

  • A pre-authorization of AED 1,500 on a credit card or cash deposit will be required upon arrival. This amount will cover damages, additional services, or fines incurred during the charter.
  • In the event of damages, an official quotation for repairs will be shared with the client, and the costs will be deducted from the deposit or charged to the credit card on file.
  • Extra cleaning due to guest actions will be chargeable.
  • Fines issued by the Coast Guard due to guest violations, such as swimming during restricted times (AED 5,000) or failure to provide ID (AED 1,500 per person), will be charged to the lead charterer.

10. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Laguna Yachts reserves the right to cancel bookings due to weather, mechanical issues, or Coast Guard restrictions. If canceled, all payments will be refunded.
  • Cancellation by the client:
    • Booking Cancellation should be 7 Days prior to the Trip to receive the 50% of the down payment, however, reschedule is possible prior 7 days to the trip.
    • If the cancellation request happened less than 7 days, 50% of the down payment will be deducted.
    • 100% of the booking value retained if canceled within 72 hours of the charter.
  • Guests have the right to cancel without penalty if:
    • Unsafe weather conditions are declared by the Coast Guard.
  • Laguna Yachts fails to provide agreed services.

11. Crew and Behavior Policy

  • Our professional Captains and Crew are experts in delivering safe and enjoyable charters. The Captain’s instructions are final. Disrespect, reckless behavior, or violations of rules may result in early termination of the charter without refunds and potential legal action.

12. Online Payment Terms

  • Visa and MasterCard are accepted in AED.
  • Customer should do 50% down payment to secure booking.
  • Minors under 18 may not register or make transactions on the website.
  • Laguna Yachts reserves the right to charge for damages or violations via the cardholder’s payment method.
